Chorus is the loudest voice in Personae and the one with the least detail. The face is a single dark profile against a gold disc; everything else — teal, cream, magenta, a column of burnt orange, a gold line ruled straight across the middle — is flat blocks answering it. No features are drawn at all, and the likeness still holds the picture together.

Process

Blocked in as flat fields first, then broken with drips, scraped edges and gold leaf so the geometry never settles into clean vector work.
